In the arms of the mother, the Wayamba  Royal Mother. Wayamba Royal College is one of the leading schools in Sri Lanka.

Wayamba  Royal College, founded in 1993, is now 28 years old. The founding principal was Manel Wickramasinghe. He was followed by Mr.T.B. Eriyawa, Mrs.Sumedha Mudunna,Mr. Sisira Atapattu and Mrs. Kanthi Rukanayake as the Principals. Currently Mr. H.M. Ariyadasa is the Principal.

It educates students from first grade to 13th grade and currently has over 5,000 students and over 300 teachers involved in the teaching and learning process. As junior and senior

Wayamba  Royal College offers two divisions, Grades 1-8 in Junior Division and Grades 9-13 in Senior Division. 

Every year, Wayamba Royal College is able to admit a large number of students from the fields of Science, Mathematics, Arts, Commerce and Languages ​​to the Universities. Another specialty of wayamba  Royal is the teaching of many foreign languages ​​such as Chinese, Japanese, French, German, Hindi and Korean.

 In the sports section, carom, chess, rugby, cricket, football, handball, badminton, netball and many other indoor sports are also practiced in the school for the children. Although the school does not have a playground to play in, the children have been able to make the most of the available resources and inherit many national and international achievements at the school.

I wish the Wayamba  Royal College, which provides co-curricular and extra-curricular knowledge to its students, will be able to thrive in the Sri Lankan city.
